His expertise in the wood-based bioeconomy and business related sectors, allows him to advise partners in their decision making process and identify growth and investment opportunities.

Ana combines a lifelong connection to the forest sector with a professional background in economics and market analysis. Having grown up in a family active in Romania’s forest industry, she gained early hands-on experience in sawmill operations and international trade. A graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), she focuses on market research, data analytics, and visualization within the forest sector. At Porini Log, Ana structures and interprets complex datasets to deliver clear, reliable insights that support strategic decisions across Central and Eastern Europe.

Founder and Chairman

Jarmo is a senior forestry consultant with 40 years of experience in private and commercial forestry, forest business and forest industry development, in Finland and internationally. He has been working more than 30 years in developed countries, and in total about 8 years in East and West Africa and 3 years in countries in transition. His vast experience recommends him as a top international advisor in the forestry industry.
